- Remove the old string
- Place new string in the bridge
- Feed string through the tuning peg
- Pull the string back approximately one fret
- Bend the string att he tuning peg – toward the turning knob
- Tighten the string, ensuring it sits in the necessary grooves
- Tune your string to the correct pitch

Strings come in different gauges, which means thickness. Thicker strings usually sound better, but are harder to play. If in doubt, opt for either the most common or lighter gauge string.
